Director Sang Hoon Park from the ID Hospital, the first cosmetic surgery clinic ever to achieve certification for a health care facility from the Ministry of Health and Welfare in 2016, has been appointed as an advisory committee member of Health Kyunghyang (K-Health) on the field of cosmetic surgery.

K-Health maintains an advisory committee composed of each member representing various medical departments to correct inaccurate information on cosmetic surgery rampant on the Internet and provide the right standards on medical information for the enhancement of the public’s health.

After having completed medical training at the plastic surgery department of Seoul National University Hospital, Director Sang Hoon Park acquired specialist qualification. He is currently giving corrective jaw surgeries and facial bone contouring surgeries based on accumulated, past experiences from working as a professor at Asan Medical Center’s plastic surgery, head of the craniofacial malformation center at Asan Medical Center, exchange professor at New York University, and journal examiner of Korean Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons.

“I have decided to become a member of K-Health’s advisory committee to provide accurate information on the area of cosmetic surgery,” said Director Sang Hoon Park, emphasizing, “I will do my best to not only correct faulty information on cosmetic surgery from the Internet but also help patients achieve the best results through safer surgeries."
