Director Ki-kap Kim, appointed as a K-Health’s advisory committee member on cosmetic surgery
Director Ki-kap Kim of the U&U Hospital has been appointed as a K-Health’s advisory committee member on cosmetic surgery.

Director Ki-kap Kim of the U&U Hospital, who has published more than 10 journals, including "Late Hematoma after Breast Augmentation," on SCI Journals and international associations, has been appointed as a K-Health’s advisory committee member on cosmetic surgery.

Director Ki-kap Kim is an M.D. who has been in the profession for 13 years after completing an internship at the Seoul National University Hospital, Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. He had published a book on correct medical information on breasts (including breastfeeding and childbirth) that women should know and participated in a Korean TV show called “Let 美人 (Let Me In)" from season two to four. He has been professionally practicing mammoplasty and breast reconstruction surgery for ten years while building clinical experiences.

“To effectively deliver accurate medical information to the public, I decided to join the advisory committee of K-Health. I will do my best in creating safe cosmetic surgery cultures by assisting any medical consumers who consider having plastic surgery to make wise decisions and delivering sensible ways to deal with possible side effects” Director Ki-kap Kim said.

Meanwhile, K-Health maintains an advisory committee composed of each member representing various medical departments to correct inaccurate information on cosmetic surgery rampant on the Internet and provide the right standards on medical information for the enhancement of the public’s health.
