Thanks to the advancement of digital healthcare, there is a new wave in the healthcare management of older adults. An era has opened where various diseases due to aging are managed with convenient wearable devices (electronic devices that can be worn on the body)

Lux9, which foresaw this trend early on, developed the digital healthcare companies solution 'BodyLog' by combining its 28 years of expertise in the mattress industry with Information and Communication Technology (ICT).

BodyLog is an applied digital skills that, for the first time in the world, matches mixed physiological signals, including the user's posture and electrocardiogram, to monitor daily life throughout the entire life cycle and provide personalized healthcare services. It consists of a 'chest patch' that can be attached to the chest and a 'mattress gear' that can be attached to the mattress.

Lux9 CEO Inho Kim emphasized the importance of matching posture and physiological signals, stating, 'To precisely monitor common degenerative musculoskeletal and cardiovascular diseases in the senior in everyday environments with various variables, it is necessary to analyze the key factor that generates these variables - motion.

In this regard, Lux9 has independently applied digital skills(posture measurement technology) that can distinguish actual postures, not relying on traditional accelerometer and barometric pressure sensor-based systems. This applied digital skills and innovations not only enhances the accuracy of physiological signal measurements but also allows for precise monitoring while senior individuals go about their daily lives comfortably.

Furthermore, BodyLog can detect abnormal signals such as arrhythmia, arthritis, osteoporosis, and spinal deformities in real time. It can also promptly notify caregivers of emergencies like acute cardiac arrest or falls. Lux9 has plans to enhance the solution by providing analysis reports on post-emergency condition changes and offering support for surgeries and rehabilitation treatments.

CEO Kim Inho stated, 'BodyLog's core focus is monitoring the entire life cycle of older people through crucial health indicators, including posture, activity, sleep, and physiological signal responses while providing applied digital healthcare services. It is expected to be an innovative solution that will change the paradigm of silver care in an aging society.
