Korean Society for AntiAging Dermatology(KAAD) will host the 13th Annual Summer Academic Conference on August 20th, with the theme ‘Comprehensive Overview of Differentiated AntiAging Treatments in Dermatology: Fundamentals and Techniques.’ The event will be conducted as the Summer Workshop.

With the rise of the socalled "Well Aging" era, where people embrace aging naturally and pursue inner and outer healthy beauty, the anti-aging industry continues growing steadily. In response to this trend, medical professionals are making efforts to provide more accurate and safe anti-aging treatments.

The Korean Society for Anti-Aging Dermatology(KAAD) is leading this movement, fueling its passion for research and education as hot as this summer. On the 20th, the society will host the 13th Annual Summer Academic Conference, "Comprehensive Overview of Differentiated Anti-Aging Treatments in Dermatology: Fundamentals and Techniques," at the Seoul Dragon City Hotel.

The President of the Korean Society for Anti-Aging Skin Care, Dr. Kwang-Ho Han(Director of NATURE DERMATOLOGY CLINIC), expressed his delight at successfully hosting the 13th Annual Summer Academic Conference in person following the previous Winter Academic Conference. He said, 'I am particularly pleased with this year's academic conference, which comprehensively covers everything from the fundamental theories of anti-aging treatments to the introduction of advanced new drugs, equipment, and techniques. The primary purpose is for dermatologists to gather in one place, exchange knowledge, and strengthen their expertise.

Dr. Hyun-Jo Kim Annual congress chairman of the 2023 Korean Society for Anti-Aging Skin Care Summer Academic Conference (Director of CNP SKIN CLINIC) stated, "This year's academic conference has been designed to enrich the program with three sessions and 14 parts, allowing comprehensive coverage of various theories and techniques related to anti-aging treatments rather than confining to any specific area. Each part has been dedicated to providing specialized and practical seminars, aiming to enhance the distinctive capabilities of dermatologists."

Renowned experts in anti-aging treatments will take the stage as speakers on this day, sharing their abundant clinical experience and know-how in various areas, such as anti-aging therapies, botulinum toxin treatments, and Treatment of bulging lower eyelid fat. Furthermore, they will generously provide insights into the fundamentals of anti-aging treatments, from program settings for pigment treatments, enlarged pores and scar treatments, and lifting treatments to the usage of new skin boosters. This diverse range of procedures will offer valuable learning opportunities for seasoned dermatologists in the field and those just stepping into this area.

Especially in cosmetic medical procedures for the skin, anatomical knowledge is essential. Therefore, lectures combining 4K anatomical videos with 3D animated illustrations will be conducted, providing a vivid and dynamic learning experience. This is highly praised as it will offer a more engaging platform for learning.

Chairman Kwangho-Ho Han expressed his hope that this summer academic conference will bear fruit as a valuable opportunity for dermatologists to acquire knowledge that can be effectively applied inreal medical field and the conference will contribute to establishing a correct public understanding of anti-aging and lead to safe and accurate treatments in the field.

On the other hand, the Korean Society for Anti-Aging Dermatology(KAAD) was established in June 2003 as a medical academic organization composed of dermatologists. It aims to provide guidelines for anti-aging procedures in dermatology, including botulinum toxin and filler treatments. Since its first academic conference in 2006, KAAD has held regular academic conferences 2-3 times a year to exchange the latest medical knowledge. It consistently conducts research, academic activities, and medical equipment exhibitions related to dermatological anti-aging procedures.
