The grand opening of 'Cosmoprof Asia Hong Kong 2023,' the biggest cosmetics and beauty trade fair in Asia, has successfully taken place.
At this exhibition, Jeju-based cosmetic companies, supported by the Jeju Special Self-Governing Province's certification program, attracted attention.
Kim Bong-seok, the cosmetics business team manager at Jeju Techno Park, said, "we have been supporting cosmetic companies in promoting Jeju government-certified certification system since 2016."
He further mentioned that "all four companies (MAROHAN, LYCORIS, Jejuindi, KBIDI) participating in this event have obtained the Jeju Cosmetic Certification Mark." Additionally, he emphasized, "Currently there are 150 cosmetic companies in Jeju with factories and research institutes, aiming to support small and medium-sized cosmetic enterprises."
